Description of the painting
This first trial of pouring paint started out with just a few colours. I decided on a colour gradient from light to dark. With colours ranging from pearly white to dark green gray, the greens make you feel as if you’re looking through a kelp forest into the sunlight. Abstract pouring art is a surprise. Depending on how I present this piece you might have a totally different association.
“My father looked at it, rotated the image 180° and said that it felt like walking from a sunny grassland into a dark forest. Thus giving this work it’s double name.”
