A painting inspired by a musical piece called Ruach.
Ruach means breath or spirit. Whilst listening to the music I sought inspiration to determine wat materials I would use in what way. I chose the colours, the location of the paint dots on the canvas, the brushes, etc., all things needed to manipulate the paint. The end result was a big surprise, because I painted blind from that point forwards. It’s an abstract art piece that somehow gives me the feeling of a landscape. The first that came to mind was the follow scripture: “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters” (Gen. 1:2). In Hebrew the title of the painting became Veruach Elohim, “Spirit of God”.
